Student takes a stance identifying which trait is more prevalent brains or brawn.

Student takes a stance without identifying which trait is more prevalent brains or brawn.

Student does not take a stance but identifies which trait is more prevalent brains or brawn.

Student takes no stance.

Student supports stance

Student supports stance with atleast three accurate supporting examples.  

Student supports stance with atleast 2 accurate supporting examples. 

Student supports stance with atleast 1 accurate supporting examples. 

Student supports stance with no accurate supporting examples. 

Student poses question (in response to other students posting)

Student validates writer response and poses relevant response question or thought.

Student validates writer response but poses irrelevant question or thought

Student validates writer response and does not pose relevant question or thought

No validation of response or question / thought posted
